MYOB or Xero Interface

The LightSpeed POS program completely handles all of your inventory management, purchasing and sales activities. However it is not in itself an accounting package. What it does do is provide an effective interface to MYOB for all relevant financial information.

Building on this interface, SMB Consultants have developed their own interface to the acclaimed Xero on-line accounting system. This interface to Xero further enhances and extends the existing MYOB interface.

These interfaces are simple and accurate. However to make these interfaces work effectively both LightSpeed and either MYOB or Xero must be configured correctly and linked appropriately.

Our Accounting Interface Workshop will be run for either MYOB or Xero interfacing. These Workshops will take you through all of the steps to ensure that these procedures are completed correctly. This is a three hour Workshop that will go through all of the setup requirements on either MYOB or Xero as well as LightSpeed and then take you through the process of export of data from LightSpeed and the import of the same data into either MYOB or Xero. There will be a demonstration of the appropriate workflow to adopt for this process.

You will learn to:

  1. Prepare products to be sold on the web

  2. Import & Update Dimensions, Photos, Keywords and Categories

  3. Create smart lists to manage products sold on web
